Founded in 2013 by Matthew Norton, Durango Dry Stone LLC builds custom exterior structural works that balance structural integrity with architectural art. Over more than ten years, Matthew has dedicated himself to working with and learning from the most respected master dry stone wallers in North America.
Having completed intensive training from the prestigious Stone Trust in Vermont and holding an Intermediate Certification from the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain (DSWA), Matthew treats stone not merely as material, but as a medium of eternal longevity.

Each rock is individually dressed using traditional chisels and hammers to establish tight structural interlocking.

Stacked using time-honored dry walling techniques—incorporating structural tie stones, hearting, and batter layouts.
